Kai : A Premiere rooted in CULTURE

Prince Kūhiō Studios is more than a film studio — it is a movement. Born from the legacy of Ke Ali‘i Jonah Kūhiō Kalaniana‘ole and grounded in the values of our lāhui, this is a home for Native Hawaiian voices to lead, create, and reclaim our stories on our land.

For too long, the stories of Hawai‘i have been told by others. Our language, our mo‘olelo, and our people have been misrepresented, romanticized, or erased altogether. Prince Kūhiō Studios is our answer to that. Built on Hawaiian Home Lands and led by kānaka ‘ōiwi, it is the first of its kind — a fully Native Hawaiian-owned motion picture and creative campus that will shape how the world sees us, and more importantly, how we see ourselves.

From motion pictures to music, education to economic development, Prince Kūhiō Studios is where our past meets our future. A place for excellence, innovation, and cultural pride — where every frame, every note, and every voice echoes the mana of our ancestors and the dreams of our keiki.

This is our time. This is our studio. This is Prince Kūhiō Studios.
